Ceries – (Pronounced ‘Series’) is a play on the word for a Trinidadian fruit “cerise”, which is a species of small fruit that is dark red in color and is to be lightly massaged until soft before consuming the seedy pulp inside
Sahara is a Toronto based second-generation content creator, writer, and HR professional. She spent most of her childhood in Trinidad and Tobago, with her mother decending from Trinidad and her father a refugee from Sri Lanka. She attended the University of Waterloo. Upon entering the workforce, she noticed a severe gap in the resources and strategy available to minorities. CERIES was created to showcase Canada’s thriving professional scene (arts, technology, science), house a platform for underrepresented talent to access resources, and spotlight creatives of all experiences.
